What is a Virtual Assistant?
In simplest terms, it is an independent professional who works remotely and undertakes a variety of tasks that help and support you in your business. Virtual assistants, also known as VAs, specialise in different areas based on their previous experience or interests. 

My background is in small business marketing, communications and administration, so I specialise in providing support in the areas of digital and content marketing and administration.

If you're working remotely, how do I get work to you?
Through the beauty that is the internet! Email. Skype. Google Docs. Dropbox. Trello. We can use all these tools and more to communicate and share information with each other.

Do I pay you like an employee? Am I responsible for your superannuation and sick leave?
No. The great thing about working with a virtual assistant instead of hiring a part-time or casual employee is I am an independent contractor, so I'm responsible for the payment of my superannuation and taxes, etc.

What are your payment terms?
A non-refundable $100 deposit locks you into my schedule whether we start working together next week or in three months time. Invoices are issued at milestones depending on your chosen package. The payment dates are detailed in our service agreement. Payment is required within seven (7) days of receipt of the invoice(s).

How can I pay you?
PayPal or Credit Card.

What's your refund policy?
Due to the nature of my services, I don't currently offer refunds. If there were an issue while we're working together, I'd hope we could communicate and sort out the situation. 

What happens if I need to cancel our working agreement?
In the unfortunate case that you need to cancel, you are required to give seven (7) days written notice. Deposits are non-refundable. If work has already commenced, you'll be charged for the hourly work done up to the point of cancellation.

Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes. It's also written into my service agreement.

What hours do you work?
I work between 9 am - 4 pm Monday to Friday AEST. But we can discuss availability outside of these hours. Urgent work outside of business hours does incur an additional surcharge.
